You Called Yourself A Student?
People say College/University life is different, how they get to enjoy the so-called “student life”. But when they mean student life, is not about how they enjoy studying or things they really do or activities they involved in the college or university. More like how they get to move out from home, going out late without any restriction from parents, and perhaps getting wasted and things like that.
Sure getting freedom is part of the fun, but are you really “qualified” to say that you are a student? Did you carry out your responsibilities as a student? From what I have encountered, I’ve seen “students” playing video games like there’s no tomorrow, until the next morning, and sleep during the day, skipping classes. Once in a while is fine, but what about almost an entire semester and literally living like a vampire?
Taking the same old exams multiple times, not because they are stupid, but in fact not putting in any effort at all? Like going out of the exam hall in 30 minutes? What about your study? Isn’t that your primary task of having the “student” occupation? Oh, I forgot you were probably getting drunk and having a hangover just a day before the exam, because of having fun during the entire week of “Study Break”.
And how about going all the way to a different country to study abroad, just to go clubbing and casinos? And don’t tell me about having stress and things like that, because there’s tons of assignment to be done. It’s more like you start you assignments two days ago before the due date, when it’s already given to you four weeks ago.
So, what’s your “student” job anyway?
