Last Wednesday, Jonathan and I took a half day off from office, to attend a presentation in the afternoon. It turns out that the submission of our website design for the college website is in the finals, so we need to go a trip to college to present out work.

There are a total 8 teams in the finals, most of entries are full Flash animated websites. Our presentation went okay, however I tend to forget some points and having hard time to pull words out of my mind to say. In fact, this is the second time I did so badly in a presentation in my college years. I guess I was over confident.

So, while waiting for the competition winners result, the MCs interviewed some of the participants, including myself. So, when they asked “so how do you think you guys did on the web design”. I answered “there’s still room for improvement”. Somehow, the quote of the day was “still room for improvement”.

It took us several nights to complete the design, however we didn’t have enough time to polish up the contents. Although we didn’t mange to get the first prize, we got second place instead.

Well, Jon and I planning to treat our fellow project team mates for a dinner, since we delayed our team project for some time. So, part of our prize money will go for dinner.
