No Place Like London - Part 2

On the second day, most of our day are in Madame Tussauds wax museum. Weather was not that good that day as it was raining the whole morning.

Madame Tussauds is located near the Baker Street Tube station, right there we can see the very famous statue of Sherlock Holmes, the fictional great detective.

The wax museum consists of many wax statues of well known individuals and celebrities. Not to mention have to pack like sardine, many people were in there, much like PC fair. One of my favourites, Nicole Kidman being the most alike, Samuel L Jackson isn’t that bad either.

Inside the museum, there were also other attraction such as the horror house, with a ride that tells the story about the great fire of London and proceed saying about London’s glorious civilisation.

The girls for our trip planned to stay for an extra night, while us guys were planning to head back to Liverpool that night. Therefore, we depart and move our separate ways. We guys headed to St Paul’s Cathedral, to catch a glimpse of the great cathedral.

Was hoping to visit the Buckingham Palace as well. Unfortunately, it so happen that that day is the closing ceremony of Olympic 2008 in China, London was celebrating the closing as they will be the next host in 2012. We weren’t allow to go in the palace area as the crowd were gushing out from the palace park after the celebration.
