My Training

It’s been one week since I’m having my industrial training, and I’ve finally got my first major task today. For the past one week, I’ve been doing self exploration and learning on 3D Studio Max, and of course with some guidance from my colleague. You might wanna ask, what to do with 3D Studio Max anyway?

The company that I’m in deals with warehouse automation and logistics solution (Please do not ask me what company). So basically, the department which I’m in, shows the flow of how these machineries handle and transport the raw materials or supplies using 3D animation. That way, the clients can get a better picture on how the flow works.

After training on some short animation, I get to know about 3D animation better and appreciate them more, as I know they are very tedious tasks. It can take you a whole day just to get a 1 second animation done.

Cool.. I used to see my friends create 3D stuffs using 3D studio max. As you said, it can take a whole day to create a one second animation. They worked their ass off to get things done. But I think it should be quite fun making 3D stuffs.. (besides the wait for rendering part) =P
