In Liverpool
It’s been 3 days in Liverpool, and I managed to walk around in part of the city. One thing for sure in Liverpool, is there are a lot of fine historic architectures, making it as one of the European Capital of Culture.

People in Liverpool are friendly. You’ll get people greeting you or maybe having a small chat with you sometimes. There was a man that easily and almost immediately identified us from Kuala Lumpur. The first thing he asked was “You’re from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore?”.

Really have to say “wow”, being able to tell us apart from other Asian groups, breaking us down to specific region that quickly by our looks. I guess he traveled a lot and seen many different types of people, or maybe it’s because many Malaysian and Singaporeans come over here?

For sure, you won’t find any double decker buses in Malaysia. It is pretty common here though. I came across a few limos as well, seems pretty common here, I think.

Funny thing is we come across this Proton Gen-2 in one of the alleys. What is so special about it you ask?

Well, it is the first Malaysian car we ever seen, after 3 days of visiting around the city (because we can’t find any Kancil or Proton Saga like we used to in Malaysia). We were taking photos of this car, and I think other people walking around might think us as crazy fellas.

Then there is this Royal Liver Building, which have two birds statues on the top of the building, one facing the sea, and one facing the land. I have heard that the one facing towards the sea is suppose to be the male bird, and the one facing the land is the female bird.
