I Do Not Understand
There’s been some delay on my industrial training work lately, having tons of questions waiting to be answered and the person in charge is having a holiday. I was like calling him in the middle of his vacation (he’s camping you know), and he’s in Sweden! First time learn to dial international call, hearing lots of echoes and the response delay was like around 4 seconds. So, what he suggested was to contact another person, supposely the job had passed to this person before he went for holiday.
Due date is near, and I still not finish with the animation modeling yet! So, after bombing some emails to the other person-in-charge, finally I got a reply, asking me to call his office in Switzerland. There goes another phone call. Once I get through, all I heard was a lady greeting me in Swiss, which I totally have no idea. She don’t understand me, I don’t understand her, so I hang up.
Then, got another private phone number of the person-in-charge, from the my department’s consultant, Mark sitting right behind me. Still no luck, only voice mail box (you guessed it, it’s in Swiss). So, what to do? I asked Mark to help me on the phone call. Pai Seh, simple greeting also don’t know, luckily someone helped me to get through the line.
As the picture above suggest, me myself making a phone call and do not understand what they are talking about.
