Exhausted
It’s been hectic these days. Rushing through to complete an animation in three days (which suppose to due today), which normally will need at least one and a half week. Had an OT (over time) last Friday trying to get feedback from the person-in-charge, as I was having hard time trying to contact him.

To my horror, when I finally get through the person-in-charge, he said the animation flow was incorrect. I felt that my world has collapsed in that very moment. I was thinking how am I gonna correct all these within a single day, not to mention that a complete rendering of these animation will normally take 8 hours (one full day of office hours) to complete. Didn’t had much sleep that night, worried that I was not able to get it ready by Monday.
Then, Saturday was my friend’s birthday. Didn’t had time to go shopping for presents, so I made something instead. It wasn’t really fancy stuff, but it’s something money can’t buy. It’s the thoughts that counts right? Took me whole morning to do it. Later that afternoon, went to have weekly meeting with my project team members, to check out on our project progress. And I have to apologize to them as well, for not being productive that week. Then, had to went to my friend’s birthday party that night bringing the self made present.
Monday, judgment day. Luckily enough, I’ve managed to correct the flow of the animation today, and found a way to get the animation render on time. The whole animation process was split up into 6 parts, 2 animation being rendered simultaneously (which took around 2 hours). I Even tried render with two machines at the same time.
Whew, all the video clips joined seamlessly with a handy video join software and I made it on time! But, whether the person-in-charge likes it or not, that will be another story to tell.
