Chibi Characters
It has been some time since I last done any sketching and drawing. The last one was most probably for the 3D character model that I have work on. Prior to this, I have spent some time learning to draw Chibi characters. It has been some time since I keep them, just scanned them recently and thought of posting them here.
Chibi Characters
What is Chibi? Chibi is a way to draw characters, where their body parts does not follow the real life body proportion. One common method is by drawing characters with big head, but with small body to make them look cute. There are several ways to draw them, as for me, I draw them using 3 same sizes base circles. One circle for the head, one for the upper body and the other one for the lower body.

I agree. There are many methods to draw them (especially in anime). And yours look amazing - something I’d see in Fruits Basket or Sailor Moon.

P.S I agree with you. There are many different ways to draw chibi characters…I ususally sketch mine with enormous feet and large hands

uh, . . .agreeall with wimpy kid. . .ed, I usually draw my chibis with humungous heads. . .try it.

Sounds good enough for me I draw them but for all the ones I have looked at most of them do. I think their cute and would like to start drawing them, i’m used to drawing reagular anime but do u have any other pointers? thanks!
