Programming is like playing video game
You face a lot of different bugs
Just like you encounter enemies in the video game
Some enemies are easy, some are hard

Programming is like playing video game
Defeating the same bug over and over again
And each time it triggers something different
Like playing the same game with different difficulty settings Read more…

Website Accessibility

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

Just right this morning, I was flipping through TheStar’s In-tech section, and come across website accessibilities for the blind. This issue about disabled-friendly is not something new, yet not many are aware of it. Thus, some online-shopping companies got sued for this matter, of their website not accessible-friendly.

For majority of the people, they are used to rely on their eyes and a “rodent” when surfing the Internet. You see, people with visual problems which either can see partially or see nothing at all, requires a screen reader to tell them what is on a website, and browse through them only with a keyboard. Monday, April 7th, 2008

I just bought a camera before my holiday to Perhentian Island, and also to serve as my travel camera when I go study in UK soon. And so, this camera, PowerShot A570IS from Canon caught my eye.

Previously, my family had two digital cameras, which they are just plain pathetic. Not only they look like a toy, but they shoot lousy and blurry photos. Why two monitor? Well, if you are a heavy application user, you may find at times switching between different applications waste some of your precious time. By combining two monitor, you can have a wider desktop area to place more applications to get your job done. Read more…

Geekiness

Monday, February 18th, 2008

Oh the geekiness, been feeling empty these days trying to find something to fill in my time. So happen that one of my friends happen to fly to US by this week, so it’s kinda last minute for him to send his computer, so that I can set it up for him before he go there.

The thing is instead of one, he send me two notebook computers to set on. As usual, I just charge him a minimal service fee (yes, I always do that, because time is money right?).

4 computers on the same desk

So, the thing is I get this view when I am working with his computers, with my own computers on my desk as well, the view looks like this. 4 computers on the same desk, oh! the geekiness of man and machine. I really need to balance my life on one of these days.
